Helleborus niger , commonly known as Snow Rose or Christmas Rose, is a powerful homoeopathic medicine derived from the root of the  Helleborus niger  plant belonging from Ranunculaceae family. Traditionally valued for its deep action on the  nervous system and sensorium , it is especially useful in conditions involving  mental dullness ,  sensorial depression ,  hydrocephalus , and  muscular weakness . In homoeopathy, Helleborus is primarily used to manage symptoms of  brain affections ,  neurological decline , and  low states of vitality .
